Where should we eat?

One of the traditions in the Vargas household is for Mrs. Vargas and I to have “date night” at least once a week. This usually means going out for dinner, among other activities, such as going to a new casino.

When enjoying a date night dinner in and aroudn Las Vegas, and not hitting the buffets we try to find a locally-owned restaurant to enjoy. There is nothing wrong with national restaurant chains, or even the occasional In-N-Out Burger, but local flavor is usually better. Well, if not better, it’s at least more interesting.

As we find different places to eat in and around the Las Vegas, I will post links to my r restaurant reviews here. I’m not a professional restaurant reviewer, so I approach things from the perspective of someone who wants to go out to eat and enjoy a nice meal with his wife. If the forks aren’t in the right place, I generally won’t even notice.

This section is divided into two sections: full-service restaurants and buffets.
